FiinRatings Assigns Initial 'A' Issuer Credit Rating to EVF with 'Stable' Rating Outlook

On 15 October 2026, FiinRatings assigned a first-time Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of 'A' with a 'Stable' outlook to EVN Finance Joint Stock Company ("EVF" or "the Company").

The 'A' rating reflects EVF's solid business position, with an operating scale that places it among the largest non-bank finance companies in Viet Nam. The rating is also supported by sound asset quality and an increasingly diversified funding structure. As of 30 June 2026, EVF's outstanding customer loans stood at VND 67,201 billion, with a non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of 1.0% and an NPL coverage ratio of 122.4%. Notably, the rating is based on EVF's stand-alone credit profile, with no uplift for government or group support.

The 'Stable' outlook reflects FiinRatings' expectation that EVF will maintain its credit profile over the next 24 months. FiinRatings will continue to monitor the Company's capital buffer amid credit growth, as well as its asset quality, portfolio diversification and the stability of its funding structure.

The rating comes as EVF continues to strengthen its capital base and expand its medium- and long-term funding channels. As companies seek more diversified sources of capital, maintaining credit quality and enhancing the transparency of their credit profiles are becoming increasingly important to building market confidence. An independent credit rating provides investors and funding partners with an objective reference point, while helping companies demonstrate their creditworthiness as they access capital for long-term growth.
