In the first two months of the year, the corporate bond market had a slow start, with only four issuance rounds recorded. Issuance activity, primarily driven by credit institutions, accounted for 94.6% of the total issued value. Notably, non-financial enterprises were completely absent from the market during this period, with no new issuances recorded.

The corporate bond (C-bond) market in 2024 saw improvements in both issuance value and volume, primarily driven by credit institutions. The year also witnessed notable developments, reflecting the gradual enhancement of product quality. Furthermore, new regulations for both private placements and public offerings are expected to improve credit quality and foster investor confidence in the market.

The corporate bond market in November recorded a more diverse issuance structure by sector. Meanwhile, the supply of privately placed corporate bonds could be significantly impacted in the near future if the Draft Amendment to the Securities Law is approved. Additionally, the market has witnessed the issuance of some green bonds by non-financial issuers this year.
